We’re delighted to introduce our new Flower Arranging Workshops for Summer and Autumn 2026, led by award-winning local florist Sue Flight.

Sue spent 25 years as Head Florist at the prestigious Gravetye Manor, where she created stunning floral displays using flowers and foliage gathered from the estate’s renowned gardens. Throughout her distinguished career, she has represented the UK in international floral competitions across Japan, India and Oman, and is also a Chelsea Flower Show Gold Medal winner.

A lover of nature, Sue now enjoys creating elegant, seasonal arrangements using flowers, foliage and textures gathered from local gardens and woodland.

Designed for beginners, this relaxed and enjoyable workshop offers the perfect introduction to the art of flower arranging. Sue will share her wealth of knowledge, guiding you step by step as you create your own beautiful seasonal arrangement to take home. You’ll be working with locally grown flowers and foliage, celebrating the colours and textures of the autumn garden harvest.

Your experience begins with tea, coffee and homemade biscuits on arrival. After the 2½-hour hands-on workshop, you’ll be invited to relax and enjoy a delicious two-course lunch served with wine.
